We are looking for
An experienced technician to join our Singapore team. The role involves assembling and adjusting mechanical components, performing functional and dynamic tests on motion systems, diagnosing and repairing non-conforming products, and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The position also includes service and training for customers and partners.

Your tasks
- Assemble and adjust mechanical components using precision tools (micrometer, caliper, etc.) according to technical drawings and work instructions.
- Configure and operate test benches, execute dynamic and functional tests, and record results.
- Diagnosing and repair non-conforming products and returned motion systems, including component replacement and corrective actions.
- Perform inspection, quality control, and testing in compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Ensure accurate data entry in ERP systems for product traceability and repair documentation.
- Provide service and practical training to customers, suppliers, and subsidiaries on motion systems.
- Report issues and propose improvements to the responsible manager in line with company processes.
- Provide support on technical documentation such as Bills of Materials and work instructions for supplier collaboration.
Your profile
- Technician or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanics, Mechatronics, Electro-mechanics.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mechanical assembly and testing of motion systems.
- Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Hands-on experience with mechanical components (linear/rotary guides, bearings, encoders) is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience in functional testing of motion systems, including test bench setup, dynamic performance evaluation, and troubleshooting failures.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook) and familiar with ERP systems.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Autonomous and able to work independently at customer or supplier sites.
- Organized, structured, and detail-oriented.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer-focused.
- Available for frequent travel across Asia, as well as initial and refresher training in Switzerland.
