ComET: Setting and analysing tool

ComET is a user-friendly interface developed by ETEL to set up and monitor the operation of the position controllers, motion controllers and multi-axis gateways. Thanks to its simple and powerful tools, ComET allows the user to start up an axis in just a few minutes.
As soon as ComEt is running, the actions which can or must be taken are suggested to the user.

THE SETTING TOOL
Used to quickly tune the parameters of the position controllers and to automatically set the safeties of the system.

THE REGULATION TOOL
Used after the ‘Setting’ tool to refine the value of the regulation parameters of the position controllers while displaying the corresponding monitorings.

THE MULTI-AXIS SCOPE TOOL
Used to monitor, with 4 channels, the parameters (K register), the monitorings (M register) and the user’s variables (X register) of any axis.

THE I/O CONTROL TOOL
Used to monitor and manage the different inputs and outputs of the controller and/or of its associated optional board.

THE SAVE ON CONTROLLER TOOL
Used to save the registers value and the sequence on any controller.

THE EDITOR TOOL
Used to write a sequence for position and motion controllers. It includes all classical features of a basic text processing tool and an automatic syntax coloring system.

THE REGISTERS EDITOR TOOL
Used to view and/or modify the controller’s registers classified by groups.

THE TERMINAL TOOL
Used to directly send commands, know and modify the value of the registers of the motion controller and of one or several position controllers at the same time.
