Headquartered in switzerland, and with 7 subsidiaries and 3 representative offices throughout the world, ETEL S.A. employs about 400 dedicated associates in the research & development, industrialization, production, supply chain, quality, sales, marketing and support functions in môtiers in the canton of neuchâtel in switzerland.
Our supply chain department provides purchasing, procurement, planning and delivering services to all ETEL business unit. The purchasing service is looking for a:
Buyer
Our successful candidate will be required to be in charge of all the activities in terms of direct purchase for a certain supplier portfolio and continue to improve suppliers’s quality. Our candidate will report to the purchasing manager.

Your responsibilities: |
|
- Participate to the purchasing strategy ;
- Identify, qualify, select and then follow up and evaluate the suppliers with the support of the quality components engineers ;
- Investigate in new profitable partnerships/solutions in purchasing activities ;
- Improve suppliers’ quality in collaboration with different internal services ;
- Implement the best practice to achieve superior performances ;
- Negotiate the best conditions of purchases ;
- Close and proactive cooperation with internal services to involve suppliers at the earliest stage of the design and to maintain continuous improvement ;

Your qualifications: |
|
- Purchasing diploma ;
- At least 5 years of experience in similar function for an high-tech/industrial company; technical mechanical purchasing ;
- Very good skills in negotiation practices and purchasing : request of information, quotations, price comparisons, incoterms, contracts and regulation, computer literacy ;
- Knowledge of supplier’s audit processes and practices ;
- French and english excellent written and spoken skills ;
