OUR SYSTEMS BUSINESS UNIT WORLD LEADER IN DIRECT DRIVE AND MOTION CONTROL TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPS AND MANUFACTURES HIGH ACCURACY MOTION SYSTEMS. THE SYSTEMS R&D SERVICE IS LOOKING FOR A:
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO DEFINE, SIZE, COMMISION, QUALIFY AND TEST HIGH ACCURACY AND DYNAMICS MOTION SYSTEMS FOR VARIOUS MARKETS IN HIGH END INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENTS.
HE WILL BE INTEGRATED INTO A PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT TEAM REPORTING TO A TEAM LEADER

Your responsibilities: |
|
- Understand customers’ application and Translate customers’ application requirements into motion controllers specifications ;
- Size motion controller requirements to drive high end motion systems ;
- Integrate, commission, qualify and test the hardware and applications’ software of motion controllers in high end motion systems (commissioning, diagnosis and trouble-shooting) ; |
|
Your qualifications: |
|
- Bachelor/ master degree in electronics ;
- Knowledge in the following fields:
o motion control theory and applications, particularly motors and controllers (motor sizing, controller regulator configurations)
o sensors and measurement components; ability to define requirements for such sub systems
o electro-magnetic compatibility and grounding rules for electrical cabinets, cabling and motion systems
o matlab and simulink
o basic sw programming
- Able to define test requirements and plans to validate the compliance of the design versus specifications, from test plans to results analysis ;
- Able to size, specify and select power supplies and motion drivers to meet system specifications ;
- Fluent in english ; french and/or other languages advantageous ;
- Passionate about high-end technologies ;
- Ideally three years experience in an industrial environment; a junior application could be considered ;
