Headquartered in switzerland, and with 7 subsidiaries and 3 representative offices throughout the world, ETEL S.A. employs about 400 dedicated associates in the research & development, industrialization, production, supply chain, quality, sales, marketing and support functions in môtiers in the canton of neuchâtel in switzerland.   Our motors business unit develops high performance linear and torque motors for our semiconductor and machines tools businesses. The motors r&d service is looking for a:   teamleader   Our successful candidate will be required to lead a team of engineers and constructors and to develop direct drive solutions. Our candidate will report to the motors r&d manager.

Your responsibilities:

-          Lead a multi-disciplined team of engineers and constructors to develop direct drive solutions ; -          Be responsible for the team efficiency and contribute to the strategic objectives and the implementation of the product roadmap; -          Define project targets, investigate necessary budget, define project teams, coordinate and review ongoing projects ; -          Ensure the technical architecture and technical specifications, in cooperation with r&d management and commercial product management ; -          Interact with other internal and external development teams, definition of interfaces and deliverables, taking into account of global system constraints and standards ; -          Cooperate strongly with industrialization teams, the supply chain group and the quality management ; -          Organize the support to production, after sales, technical sales, and to other business units ; -          Participate in customer visits, in house and external ;

Your qualifications:

-          Master or PhD in physics or mechanical/electromechanical or mechatronic engineering ; -          At least 5 years of proven experience in project management and development of electromechanical products, its industrialization and applications; -          Minimum 3 years of proven experience in team management; -          Experienced in presentation to management and reporting; -          Fluent in english and french, german a significant advantage ;
