Headquartered in switzerland, and with 7 subsidiaries and 3 representative offices throughout the world, ETEL S.A. employs about 400 dedicated associates in the research & development, industrialization, production, supply chain, quality, sales, marketing and support functions in môtiers in the canton of neuchâtel in switzerland.

Our supply chain department provides purchasing, procurement, planning and delivering services to all ETEL business unit.                The purchasing service is looking for a:

Components Quality Manager

Our successful candidate will be required to drive the team which manage actively the resolution of supplier parts quality problems.        Our candidate will report to the supply chain director.

Your responsibilities:

-          Manage and sustain suppliers’ quality ;

-          Define suppliers quality objectives ;

-          Monitor and/or implement of the parts quality specifications and tolerances to drive high quality levels ;

-          Participate to the definition of the supply chain strategy ;

-          Elaborate and follow up the budget ;

-          Plan and manage the supplier’s visits, manufacturing audits, and performance measurement ;

-          Improve mechanical components and related processes ;

-          Manage the supplier’s quality deming’s wheel (pdca – plan, do, check, act), spec, ishikawa diagrams ;

-          Identify, select, use and qualify new suppliers and respective capabilities ;

-          Propose replacement of deficient supplier’s ;

-          Work in teamwork with respective buyer’s and production ;

-          Relate to costs, quality, and on time deliveries ;

Your qualifications:

-          Bachelor or master in mechanical engineering ;

-          At least 5 years of experience in development, quality or components manufacturing ;

-          Very good knowledge of manufacturing processes and metrology ;

-          Experience in product & process quality management ;

-          Good knowledge of supplier’s audit processes and practices ;

-          excellent IT tools knowledge ;

-          French and English excellent written and spoken skills, German is an advantage ;
